ANXIETY
Anxiety is a normal part of life, but it becomes a problem when it keeps you from doing what you want. You may experience a few or all of the following symptoms: irritability, restlessness or feeling keyed up, difficulty concentrating, tiredness, and difficulty sleeping. Try as you might, you struggle to get a grip on the constant and excessive worry.
You may also repeatedly think about worst-case scenarios about what may happen in the future. It is difficult to stop this kind of worry once it starts, and fears about one issue can lead to worry about another, leading one to get stuck in a vicious cycle.
Did you know anxiety is not just one thing? Anxiety includes what you experience in your body (e.g. pressure on your chest or knot in your stomach), what you think (e.g. I am not worthy), and what you do (e.g. withdrawal, distraction). Anxiety treatment will help you understand possible causes, what maintains the distress and how to overcome this debilitating pattern.
